- I did survive and thrive during mommyhood. My girls are now 26, 23, and 18; my son is 16. I also have a wonderful son-in-law and a granddaughter. I hope my stories bring a smile and encourage those of you who are still in the middle of toddlers or teens. I am a freelance writer.
